I've been absent from xanga for a while which truly pains me, for I love xanga. The thing is, I'm doing this musical comedy called Why Do Fools Fall In Love? This show is set in the 60's and basically incorporates the hits from that time.

Because @amateurprose is being a little dickens, I thought I would post something from my "dear diary" site. So this is my dedication (and my first solo in the show) to all of you silly xangan boys. Here we go then with the post which I labled Rule 5 ~ Rebels:

Today I've been working on this solo. I found a nice youtube video to aid me in my endeavour. It should be funny if I make her a bit of a geek. For some strange reason, that comes easy to me... Here's my inspiration and my first number:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxeN_vlVgw4

Women seem to have an arsenal of acting tricks. You being an actress makes it even more dangerous to take at face value.

Good luck in finding just the right pose, act and gestures. Besides being an actress you are also an artist.

@PPhilip - Unfortunately, my talent in art seems to be limited to stick figures..... It's funny that you mention pose, act, and gestures, because when I slide into someone else's skin, I truly have no recollection of what I am doing physically.

@amateurprose - You shall be in for a not-so-nice surprise. I'm as a serious as a snowball in hell! (That's one of my lines from the show.....I thought it was apropos.) Hey, that rhymed! (Another line from the show....)

@murisopsis - Thanks! It doesn't go up til December, but I'm bit anal about getting things right. I'm having to drop to alto in this production so it's a good vocal workout for me.

@MzSilver - Thanks, Red. I'm actually going red for the role, as it seems to bring out the dork in me. I should like to post footage of our performance because we girls do have a nice blend vocally. Mr. Kells will have to help me in that department.

@fauquet - I like jumping over to your site. My brother-in-law is fluent in French. I made an A in French, but it seems I have an easier time reading it than speaking it. Your site is a good workout for me. Also, I just like to see what's going on across the pond.

@PrisonerxOfxLove - So are you saying that you were forced to quit smoking at the age of 11?

@angys_coco - They think they are. But I'm terribly fond of them, nonetheless. ;)

@andreas_d@hardestlevel - I love nothing more than to make people laugh. I think of that saying, "Laugh, and the world laughs with you. Weep, and you weep alone."
